Julian

This original SSAA piece is reminiscent of medieval Gregorian chant, yet also is peppered with modern harmonies. It grew out of another original piece of mine, Gregor’s Way, and highlights the writings of Julian of Norwich (1342 – c. 1416).

This 11’30” original classical composition for string quartet draws inspiration from nature, particularly my visit to String Lake within Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
